Typical Gulf Coast weather played a hand in the last minute preparation and changes to Chris and Jackie's beautiful and heartfelt wedding. Forecasted rain pushed the ceremony inside the beautiful Pensacola wedding venue Lee House. After the ceremony, we ended up meandering around the park in downtown pensacola to do the bride and groom formals. Chris and Jackie are a blast to be around, and made the shoot effortless! At the reception, they had a s'mores bar and a tub of ice cold bottled root beer for the guests.....mmm, root beer! We could not help but enjoy ourselves while capturing every part of their special day!
Well, it was a tight race. The awesome speeches given by the fathers ran a close second, but I have to give it to the decorations! Everything was handmaid by the bride and her helpers. And they were beautiful!! Seriously should be used for wedding decorations and inspiration by other brides! The color scheme was one of my favorites, and the theme played hand in hand with the venue and the feel of the wedding ceremony. They even kind of coincided with the bride and groom themselves! Basically, I loved them, and I loved shooting them even more.
